What a mess

This is what happens when you don’t pay attention. You lose the domain name that you’ve had for 14 years or more. I really have no idea how this happened. I don’t know if my site got compromised by hackers or my brain-dead domain registrar just screwed up.

Turns out the domain registration renewal that I PAID for back in October ’23 never went through, even though they sent me confirmation of payment. Because I wasn’t posting or updating my former site. I only realized my loss a couple of months ago.

Don’t go to that site! I am now right here at CONCEPTBYCROSBY.COM.

I no longer own the old site even though it may look similar. Whoever got hold of the domain also took the opportunity to heist the art and layout as well. The fun never stops! It’s easy to figure it out because it looks broken and has non-English text leading to some gambling site. Please stay away for your own safety. I’m working on taking it down but that might take a while. I’m still in the process of updating my social media pages as well.

 

Now what?

The good news is that my children’s books Nia’s Special Day and Kwanzaa Coloring Book, are still available on Amazon and Etsy. You can also find my Kinara’s Children cards and Mini-Posters on Etsy or my webstore.

I keep pushing. I still have my Kinara’s Children site and will be adding new KC material as I go. This site will be more about ideas, concepts if you will, and artwork that is not necessarily part of the KC project. I’d like to do some writing in my blog as well.
