Project: Website Design Description: iN Education is a vocational organization that uses practicing professionals to teach high school students their craft. Role: Theme modification, design and development

Project: Book Design Description: Using 1950’s “mens” magazines as a reference, the author explores the popular image of Ernest Hemingway in order to consider the dynamics of both literary celebrity and midcentury masculinity. Role: Jacket and interior design and interior typesetting All Man! won the grand prize from the Independent Book Publishers Association in the Poetry/Literary Criticism category.

Design and typeset interior pages Wild Ohio was a finalist in the Cover Design-Large Format category of the Independent book Publishers Association  Awards. This is a national award. Winner in the About Ohio/Ohioan category Ohioana Book Awards – annually awarded for fiction, nonfiction, poetry, juvenile books, and books about Ohio or Ohioans. Typesetting sample:

Tully was an American writer who enjoyed critical acclaim and commercial success in the 1920s and ’30s. He is credited with originating the hard-boiled writing style.
